Italy is rich in truffle and many regions such as Tuscany, Umbria, Langhe, Marche and Abruzzo offer different varieties of the tuber.

Meet the truffle hunter and its dog in the wood and learn how one of the most renowned (and expensive) food in the world is found. Thanks to their significant sense of smell, truffle hunting dogs sniff out truffle that grows underground.

Truffle hunting can be organized for most of the year as there are different varieties growing, according to the season: black truffles are more likely to be found in autumn; white truffle are common during winter season.

Truffle hunting lasts about one hour and a half. At the end of the experience you will move to the truffle hunter house and have a truffle-based meal, including dishes like pasta with mushrooms and truffle, carpaccio and black truffle…

Dishes will be paired with some local wine.

Important information about Covid-19 (coronavirus)

The Covid-19 emergency requires everyone to be careful and therefore it is necessary to comply with the following rules while on tour.

Wear a mask covering mouth and nose during the whole experience. It is especially important when in crowded areas and inside shops and venues. It is not required when eating or drinking.
Keep a safe distance of at least 1 metre (3 feets) unless you belong to the same family an/or if you live together with the persons you are travelling with.
Regularly clean your hands with an alcohol based hand rub or wash them with soap and water: they are available by law inside restaurants and commercial venues.
Avoid touching your own eyes, nose and mouth.
Avoid shaking hands, hugging and other physical contact with people you don't live with.

Green Pass

Green Pass is required for museums, events, fair trades and to dine indoors in restaurants. It is your own responsibility to have it with you and show it when you're asked during your experience.
